Sketches from Life: The Art of James Watterston Herald. An intimate new exhibition chronicling the life and works of the enigmatic Scottish artist. Curated by postgraduate students on the University of St Andrews’ Museum and Gallery Studies course, the exhibition profiles Herald’s life through his sketchbooks, correspondence and artworks.

Cradles, Courtship and Coffins “takes a fresh look at how we celebrate or mark the momentous occasions in our lives using a diverse range of objects and images borrowed from local museum collections and from members of the community. 18 acres of landscaped garden Glasshouses with cacti, alpines and plants from warmer regions. March-October at 2pm on the 1st Sunday of the month there are tours conducted by the Friends of the Botanic Gardens.
